This exhibit is by far my favorite place to visit at the Louisville Zoo. You can feed the birds nectar, and they will land on your head, purse, shoulders, or anywhere! This time when we went, the birds were bathing. I got a few pictures of it!

My family and I went to the Louisville Zoo a few days ago to give me a chance to play with my new lens, a 100-300 mm zoom lens by Canon. I was thrilled with the lens, and the pictures that I was able to get. I will try to post more over the next few days.

Birthday Flowers!

My sweet family sent me 2 bouquets of flowers for my birthday, which was last Monday. I thought they were simply lovely, and really enjoyed having such a lovely surprise delivered to me at work!
